Hard bitter shell
it collapses against the slightest pressure
mahogany dust, leaves a bad taste in your mouth
paper-y dry, you can hear the peel of your tongue away from your gums


tired. and don't know where this is going... my sister just discovered the backstreet boys millennium cd and its been blasting next door for the past week. Cute... sort of. Catching up on all the sleep i didn't get this past weekend tonight.

Feesh is giving away a hairpiece and to enter you need to say 3 things that make you happy this year... there are many but here are my 3.

1. Family..Duh...saw almost all my extended family on my dad's side last weekend. It's rare for us to all to ever be in the same place and so it was a particularly special and jolly thanksgiving. Crazy that my cousin is getting married, first amongst us cousins, and it's nice and a little strange for us all to be grown up now. Instead of pretending to play house in the backyard and build forts out of couches, we can actually get drinks and are soon all moving out on our own.
2. the change of seasons, and christmas lights..another DUH. Seasons rarely change here, especially in Socal.
3. the anticipation of the new year... and the forgiveness and washing away of the old.


nother random note: I wear my favorite lotion so much at work that it's begun to sink into my skin. Even after i shower, i can smell it, Moonlight path on my wrists and forearms. Mmm
