Last night I made the most delectable whiskey sour ever, if you could even call it one. I had 1 juicy lemon and 1 incredibly ripe orange that i juiced and mixed with ice and sugar in a coffee cup. Opened the sippy lid and voila! The drink was the perfect blend of citrus tang, red label, and cold sugar.
the only problem was that I used up my all of my only lemon and orange on that 1 beverage. After all i had left was about a dozen hard, unripe limes.
Let me tell you: whiskey with a dash of lime and two tablespoons of sugar is not very good. the second attempt at a sour left me shotgunning bud lights the rest of the night.
